Part of the US State Quarter series that began in 1999, the New Hampshire quarter features The Old Man of the Mountain, a famous cliff that no longer exists after collapsing in 2003, just 3 years after the release of this coin. Next to it, which I put in a speech bubble, is the state motto, "Live Free or Die".
