Part of the US State Quarter series that began in 1999, the Wisconsin quarter could, at first glance, pass for the Iowa quarter. Featuring an ear of corn, a cow, and a hunk of cheese, the coin leans heavy on the Dairyland reputation of the state, all above a banner with the state motto, "Forward".
